“In our lab, we study how essential metals-such as manganese and iron-regulate physiology and contribute to the development of chronic diseases. Our research focuses on inflammatory bowel disease, metabolic disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, using advanced tools like mouse genetics, organoids, and next-generation sequencing. If you’re curious, driven, and excited to make meaningful scientific discoveries, we welcome you to join us on this journey!”
